The HLAB27GUARD kit is designed for the qualitative, non-automated detection of the
HLA-B27 allele group in a blood sample, as an aid to
diagnosis of spondyl(o)arthropathies in patients with
clinical symptoms.

Detection of :
– HLA-B27 exon 2 allele
– HLA-B27 exon 3 allele
– Hemoglobin beta subunit (HBB)
by real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (
PCR), amplification of two specific regions of the
human genome and detection by melting curve analysis, in
using a SYBR® Green I dye that fluoresces when it binds to
double-stranded DNA. Kit undergoing CE-IVDR certification

Indication

Qualitative detection of the group of HLA-B27 alleles associated with spondyloarthropathies in a blood sample.

Principle

Real-time PCR by melting curve analysis

Withdrawal

Whole blood in a single-use sterile vacuum blood collection tube containing EDTA K2 anticoagulant, for collection and storage of samples for in vitro diagnostic purposes.
